FAQ
Why would I need to find out the size, if it is already tagged on the clothes, and I know mine anyway?
Clothes and shoes manufacturers use different patterns and pads during the making process. As a result, the same person may wear an M sized ASOS UK coat, whilst being an L in American GAP, or even an XL in an Italian Guess.
Why use an online service, since the shops websites already have size compatibility tables?
Many brands compatibility tables advertised on their websites can't protect from ordering the wrong size – they either ‘oversize’ or ‘undersize’.
Despite those comparison tables being available for use, 62% of online customers have ordered clothes of wrong size.
How do you determine sizes
We measure clothes and footwear and collect statistics on what sizes fit different people. Based on the collected statistics, we understand how to calculate the size for specific parameters.
Why does one need to give their measures in centimeters or inches? Can you pick a size for the required brand if my normal size is, for example, 10?
We know the real difference in sizes between one brand and another, but it does not allow us to choose a size without errors. For example, a change in half a size would mean a full size difference for one person, but would not for another. That means we need measures to determine a size precisely.
Why does size-finding work only for footwear?
We will introduce size-finding for clothes shortly. For now we are processing statistics and improving our algorithms.
